Dr. Morrissey received his Doctorate of Chiropractic 2000-2004 from Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena, Texas. He also has to his accreditation a:​

Dr. Morrissey has been affiliated with Velocity Sports Performance. He is the Founding Member of V- Sports Medicine Team. He developed protocol for Myofascial Treatments and PNF Stretch. He is the Team Doctor for Eclipse Soccer Club. Dr. Morrissey was also affiliated with T.A.N.K. Sports Institute and Chiropractic (TANKhouston.com) located in Houston, Texas. During this time, he Co-developed NeuroCore Kinetics (NCK)Training for Athletes. He was also Co-Founder and Executive Vice-President Clinical Nutrition. Dr. Morrissey Co-developed Soft-Tissue and PNF stretch protocol for sports acute care and chiropractic medicine.

Dr. Morrissey Chiropractic Internship was at Texas Chiropractic Collage Moody Health Center in Pasadena, Texas. He also worked at HealthSouth/ Brackenridge/ Seton Hospitals in Austin Texas. While he was there, he was a Respiratory Therapist and Facility Supervisor (HealthSouth). He Worked in ER, Neonatal, Pediatric & Adult I.C.U.’s, Ambulance transport. He received In-house Certification: Ventilator life support (puritan7200) Hyperbaric medicine, Intubation/ Extubation, Arterial Blood Gases, Bronchoscopy, Thoracotomy, EKG, EEG.

Dr. Morrissey also worked at Children's Hospital of Orange County Santa Ana, California September from 1993- May 1995. During this time he worked in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Infant Star and Servo 900C ventilators with Nitric Oxide and Liquid O2. He is Extra-corporeal membrane Oxygenator (ECMO) qualified and Pediatric Pulmonary Functions Lab qualified. He served in the US Army (Retired) Field Combat Medic (91 Bravo) where he was Stationed at: Ft. Sill, OK; Ft. Sam Houston TX; 85th USAFAD,West Germany; 1/75 Ranger Battalion, GA; Wynn Army Hospital, GA.
